I had a week-long stay in early August with my wife at this lovely spa hotel. While the spa facilities were impressive, especially the large pool and the range of wellness services, there were some service issues that detracted from our experience. The views from our room were stunning, especially of the nearby Russian orthodox church, but the challenges at reception created some frustration. Overall, we enjoyed our time and appreciated the really good dining options, especially breakfast, but there’s definitely room for improvement.
